NaNo 2018 Day 13-14

It happened again. I didn’t get home from work until nearly midnight on Day 13 and rather than update my count then and there I just kept writing until I was ready to go to bed. And on day 14 I continued writing until I completely forgot where I’d previously left off.

The result…? Yet another update that combines days. Yeah, I didn’t expect to get the “update every day” badge, anyway; that ship sailed very early on.

On the plus side, chapter 5 of Necropolis is finally uploaded. Whether I have only chapter 6 to go or more depends on how much I divide up the rest of the content once it’s done.
On the minus side, soon I’ll have to decide which fic to continue next! I’m leaning towards Catalyst, but here we have yet another fic that requires rewatching key scenes to make sure I have dialogue etc down accurately. I can skip ahead again to the events that happen outside of the context of the episodes (I have notes for events following both Left Behind of Legends of Tomorrow and Infantano Street of Flash), but that makes it a little harder to properly track the word count when I’m trying to upload as I go.

And on the word count front….
Day’s goal: 1667 words
Day’s count: 5084
Total goal: 23333
Total count: 25880
Report card reports: At this rate, you will finish on Nov 28. (One of these days I’m going to get in enough of a buffer to actually edit out those pre-existing notes and make the count and report more accurate. Or is it one of these years…?)

Fellow NaNoers, how goes the word count?
